Hello! My first inclination is to tell you that I am a Wife, Mother and self proclaimed chef but those are labels like hats that I take turns wearing. Who am I? That has been THE quest(ion) since the day I could think to ask. I am Mery, lover of light, seeker of truth and joy. I love raising my family and collecting heart shaped rocks. Much like conversing with my fellows, I write to know myself, my true self. And my favorite part about all of it, is the people I come to know along the way.

I am a mother of three beautiful children. I have been married for over twenty years. I enjoy being around people and  have a heart for teens. The journey of my life really started for me when I was around eighteen years old. I came to a desperate point in my life looking for more, looking for love. I really found it when I gave my life to the Lord and have been growing in His love more and more day by day. Through out life I have found that there are very difficult and properous seasons. Learning to use the difficult seasons to grow, not wasting them. I believe that God wants to use hard things in our life to help us grow. There can always be a blessing if we look for it. I have seen a lot of great pain in society especially in our youth. This pains me greatly. The numbers of teen suicide is very high. My heart was burden for some time about this issue. I prayed wisdom and help. I felt lead to go back to school, so that I could help teens. This was a bit scary for me. I am forty years old and it has been over 22 years since I have been to school. I had to ask myself "Do I let fear rule in my life? OR, Do I walk in obedience and follow what I know is right, good and beneficial to help others?"  Of coarse choose to go back to school. I want to make a difference to help our teens in every way I can.  You have to go back to school to make a difference in someones life. The specific field I chose it is needed. I am a firm believer that you can make a difference every day in many peoples lives. You can offer a smile, listening ear or a helping hand. People around us need hope. We all are capable of love. By sharing our love I believe we can give the people around us more hope. All of us can make a difference.
